Germany’s Sebastian Steudtner has set a world record for the ‘largest wave surfed (unlimited) – male’ for his ride measuring 26.21 meters (86ft) in Nazare, Portugal in October 2020.

Steudtner tells BBC Sport’s Olly Foster that nothing he has experienced can “match the power” of big wave surfing.
