du Preez retires from the two formats, having played a solitary Test – which came back in 2014 against India, when she hit 102 in a losing cause – and 154 ODIs where she piled up 3760 runs in a career that started in 2007. The 32-year-old even captained her country in 46 ODIs from 2011 to 2016, with South Africa winning 24 of those.
