Bowling a wicket-taking delivery ain’t that easy as the bowler needs to work his socks off to get his line and length spot on. However, some experienced bowlers have made it a habit of deceiving the batsmen in the initial part of the overs. As a result, they literally reap rewards by getting a wicket or two at the top of the order.

In the process, the bowlers start to build pressure on the unsettled batting team and that’s how the bowlers keep the batsmen in check. There is merely no use in dismissing the lower-order or the tail-enders when the damage has already been done by the top-order batters.

Every bowler’s dream is to wreak havoc on the top-order batsmen and ruffle their feathers. On top of that, bagging a hat trick isn’t for everyone. Only a few bowlers have managed to bag a hat trick by bowling three consecutive wicket-taking deliveries.

Jason Holder picks India’s top three

Meanwhile, West Indies’ all-rounder Jason Holder disclosed his dream hat trick and quite interestingly, he picked all three from Team India. While speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Jason Holder disclosed that his dream hat-trick will be Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

The trio have been quite brilliant for Team India for a long time now. With the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 scheduled to be held in India next year, fans will be relying on this trio to lead the batting attack. Jason Holder said, “My dream Hat-trick will be Kohli, Rohit & Rahul”.

So far, only two bowlers from West Indies have managed to take a hat-trick in the One Day Internationals. They are none other than Jerome Taylor and Kemar Roach. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are prepping for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. The first Test is scheduled to be played on December 14.

The game will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma was ruled out of the Test series opener due to a thumb injury. He is likely to be back in action for the second Test match on December 22 in Dhaka.
