Io Shirai Reacts To Rumors Of Her WWE Status

Io Shirai’s future in WWE has been talked about a lot in the last few days after it was reported that her WWE contract was slated to expire next month.
As previously reported, Dave Meltzer spoke about Shirai on Wrestling Observer Radio today and noted that she was “pretty much gone” from WWE.
Io took to social media today to express her frustration with the rumors by writing, “Rumors [vomiting emoji].”
The NXT star has been out of action since getting hurt at the Stand and Deliver event in April, where she worked a fatal 4-way match.
In June, it was reported that Io Shirai was close to making her in-ring return, but no timetable was given.
