That’s all from today’s game. This is Rashad Mahbub signing off on behalf of Ranjith. Take care and goodnight.

Tamim Iqbal: Yeah definitely I am proud of our achievement. We have been always a good side at home but this is back to back away series’ that we have won I think. I am very proud of the group. It wasn’t the easiest condition you know, though we had the better spinners probably. But the bowlers utilized it extremely well. Definitely we are missing three players from top 5. So this was a great opportunity for these guys and I think they have stepped up, especially players like Shohan. Whenever he got an opportunity he was cool and calm, today was another example and he batted really well. I think this is something good that is happening for the Bangladesh cricket. {The greatest takeaways} from the series would be the way Nasum bowled and the way Shohan batted. Miraz has been always good for us. But these two was something else and I have to mention Taijul’s name. Throughout the tour he was with the team but did not get a game, came in to every practice sessions but whenever he got the game he finally stepped up. So there are few things we will definitely take back.

Tamim Iqbal is the player of the series for the sixth time in his ODI career.

Taijul Islam: I am very fortunate to get the opportunity today and I have worked really hard mentally and practiced very hard for the opportunity. Because we know Shakib Al Hasan, Nasum and a lot of guys in the left arm spin department. So I am very glad that I got the opportunity and I have made the full use of it. There was no additional pressure on me. I just tried to stick on to my basics, bowl according to the wicket and that clicked for me.

Taijul Islam is the player of the match for his brilliant bowling figure of 5/28

4:46pm local time: Bangladesh wins the game by four wickets and completes a 3-0 sweep of the three-match series. After Shanto left, Bangladesh continued to advance toward victory despite his continuous poor performance. There was no strain on Tamim and Litton when they batted. Litton and Riyad were gradually lengthening the innings after Tamim left. Litton and Afif were then both removed after Motie struck twice in quick succession. The middle order batters of BD were tested for the first time in the series. The batters frequently gave away their wickets. Later, Nurul and Mehidy succeeded in getting to the required target score. They have played calmly, avoiding unneeded risks. Motie, who picked up four wickets with his excellent bowling, was assisted by Joseph, who was also quite economical with the ball. Rovman Powell and Keemo Paul were greatly missed by West Indies on the field. Only if West Indies had scored an additional 20 to 30 runs things would have been different today.
