Ranbir Kapoor might be a social media recluse but wife Alia Bhatt is not. So, on the release day of Shamshera, the actress gave a huge shout out to husband Ranbir Kapoor and his film. The film marks Ranbir’s return to the silver screens after 4 long years. He was last seen in the 2018 film Sanju. Coming back to Alia Bhatt, the actress posted a picture of herself, in which she can be seen sporting a graphic t-shirt, which has Kapoor printed on it in Hindi. In the caption, Alia Bhatt wrote: “It’s Kapoor Day!Shamshera in theatres now. Go watch.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt  got married in April at their house Vastu in the presence of family and a few close friends. They will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Last month, Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy in a social media post. Our baby…Coming soon,” she wrote.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt recently wrapped the shoot of her Heart Of Stone, which marks her Hollywood debut. Posting a picture with her co-star Gal Gadot and the film’s crew, the actress wrote: “Heart Of Stone – you have my whole heart. Thank you to the beautiful Gal Gadot .. my director Tom Harper … Jamie Dornan missed you today… And whole team for the unforgettable experience. I will be forever grateful for the love and care I received and I can’t wait for you all to see the film. But for now… I’m coming home baby.”

Alia Bhatt recently opened up about the way Ranbir Kapoor proposed to her in Maasai Mara (Kenya) during an episode of Koffee With Karan. “In terms of Ranbir and his planning, he totally blew my mind away because I was not expecting it. We were not even talking about it. We were talking about it for a very long time but then there were so many pandemic delays, that we decided we won’t talk about it. We’ll just go with feeling. And that’s exactly what he did. He didn’t tell anyone. He just carried the ring and he did it in the most amazing place, Maasai Mara,” said Alia Bhatt. Ranbir even planted the guide to take pictures of the special moment, Alia revealed on the show.
