The Indian side just completed an ODI series sweep over Sri Lanka and won a three-match T20I series 2-1 against them. Kaur herself was in great touch throughout the Sri Lanka tour while Mandhana struggled to get going. India would hope that their vice-captain gets amongst the runs in the big tournament.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian women’s cricket squad will be a confident side for their CWG debut, coming off a great performance.
