WWE wants to induct The Steiner Brothers into the Hall Of Fame

It looks like one or both of The Steiner Brothers could be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame. Dave Meltzer stated during the latest Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast that Rick Steiner is being talked about to get inducted this year and they would also like to induct Scott Steiner.
Scott has said a lot of negative things about WWE, and most notably Triple H over the years and has not done anything with WWE in almost 20 years. Scott has said that Triple H buried him during his last run with the company. WWE appears willing to bury the hatchet and induct him and his brother Rick into this year’s Hall Of Fame in Dallas.
On Sunday Night’s Main Event, Meltzer was asked about names he has heard for this year’s induction ceremony.
“I’ve heard Rick Steiner or The Steiner Brothers, depending on Scott,” Meltzer said on SNME. “I think if Scott is not willing, they’ll go with Rick. But they want The Steiner Brothers so that’s a name that’s floating around. Sid is the other name that’s floating around.”
Back in September, WrestlingNews.co exclusively reported that Vince McMahon has no issue with Scott Steiner and the reason why Scott hasn’t been inducted into the Hall Of Fame is because Scott has said many times that he didn’t want to be inducted. The same source also told us that if Scott wanted to talk, Vince would listen so the door has been open for him to be associated with the company again.
WrestlingNews.co was also told that there were attempts to work with Scott years ago and he was offered a Legends deal and the offer was declined. Rick Steiner appeared in the ring alongside his son Bron Breakker in January after an NXT 2.0 live broadcast. His appearance came after the show went off the air and he was there to celebrate his son’s NXT Title win. The footage was then shown across WWE’s social media platforms.
