WWE To Hold PPV In The UK Same Weekend ‘All Out’

WWE will reportedly be holding a Premium Live Event in the United Kingdom later this year.
Plans for a Premium Live Event in the UK have been rumoured to have taken place over the past year, with SummerSlam 2022 initially being rumored to be held in the United Kingdom due to it being the 30th anniversary of SummerSlam 1992, which took place in London.
Several stadiums have been discussed as possible locations for the event, with London’s Wembley Stadium and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium coming in at the top of the list due to their facilities.
It now seems like the event will be going ahead, with WrestleVotes reporting on Twitter that a Premium Live Event will take place on Saturday, September 3rd from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Source states the long-awaited WWE United Kingdom PPV return will take place Saturday, September 3rd at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
That is the same weekend as AEW’s ‘All Out’ PPV.

WWE had previously locked in a Premium Live Event on either Saturday, September 3rd or Sunday, September 4th, however a location for the event had not been confirmed.
The show will fall on Labor Day weekend in the United States, with AEW All Out also planned to take place on the same weekend. AEW haven’t yet announced the date for All Out, however their recent Pay Per Views have taken place on Sundays, meaning the two shows likely won’t take place on the same day.
The Principality Stadium has a major advantage over other stadiums in the UK in that it had a retractable roof, which is helpful as the United Kingdom’s weather is as unpredictable.
The Principality Stadium has a capacity of almost 75,000 for rugby events, however this will likely be slightly higher for the Premium Live Event due to the floorspace being made available. WWE haven’t yet confirmed the name for the Premium Live Event, or even the show itself.
WWE could potentially announce the show during their upcoming Europe tour in April with shows in London and Newcastle, or alternatively it could just be announced via social media.
