According to TV Series Finale’s Fast Nationals Ratings, this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown on FOX, which aired just hours following the retirement announcement by Vince McMahon, averaged 2.17 million viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, SmackDown drew a 0.60 rating, making it No. 1 for the night on network television. The final numbers will be released this coming Monday.

Friday night’s SmackDown featured a brief appearance by new WWE CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon at the start of the show.
