WPL 2024 Purple Cap Update: Giants vs. Warriorz Clash

A week passed in the Women’s Premier League 2024. In those matches, fans have experienced some thrilling matches throughout. On March 1, Gujarat Giants faced UP Warriorz at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. In this match, fans experience another exciting match.
After winning the toss, UP Warriorz won the toss and decided to bowl first. While batting first, the Gujarat Giants gave a good start. But Sophie Ecclestone named the first wicket after her name. She dismissed Beth Mooney in just 16 runs. In the 10th over, she struck again. Laura Wolvaardt walked away after scoring 28 runs in a brilliant delivery by Sophie. Then Rajeshwari Gayakwad took 1 wicket. After 20 over, Gujarat set a target of 143.
While batting first, UP Warriorz lost Kiran Navgire’s wicket quite early. Then Tanuja Kanwar dismissed Chamari Atapattu on 17 runs. But Grace Harris stood tall. She played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 60 runs in 33 balls. From Gujarat’s side, Tanuja Kanwar took 2 wickets, Kathryn Bryce took 1 wicket and Meghna Singh got 1 wicket. UP Warriorz won the match by 6 wickets.
