After decades of WWE dominating the wrestling landscape, there is a secondary option around. That does not mean everyone is going to want to stay there though, and now one of the biggest names in AEW might be signaling that it is time for a change.

Over the last year, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman has talked about “The Bidding War Of 2024”, when he will be a free agent, available to sign with WWE or re-sign with AEW. According to Fightful Select, a WWE talent said Friedman told them that he was “looking forward to being there in 2024”, meaning WWE. At the same time, the talent said that it should be taken with a grain of salt. Other talented have also said Friedman has made similar statements. There is no word on when Friedman’s AEW deal officially expires.
