Sri Lanka vs Australia 4th ODI Betting Tips
R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo, Tuesday 7.00pm (AEST)
Game 3 Review
The Sri Lankans were outstanding in Game 3, making it back to back wins over the Aussies to take a 2-1 lead in the series. They’ll be looking for another win on Tuesday night to capture a historic series win, the first ODI series win against the Aussies since all the way back in 2010.
Batting first, Australia put a very resptable 6/291 on the board on the back of solid performances from Travis Head (70) and Aaron Finch (62). The experimentation witth the line-up continued as Cameron Green was inserted into the team all the way down at No.8.
In reply, it was Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka who dominated the Aussie attack, smashing 137 off just 147 balls to lead his team to victory. The star opener had a helping hand from No.3 Kusal Mendis, with the two teaming up for a 209 run partnership for the 2nd wicket.
Game 4 Preview
Tough to know what direction the Aussies will go with their line-up for Game 4. They have done a lot of experimenting during this series and I expect that continue into the last few games. Cameron Green at No.8 is a prospect that excites me for the upcoming T20 World Cup, giving the Aussie sa ridiculous amount of batting depth.
The Sri Lankan batting line-up is in much better form than I expected they would be coming into this series, and don’t seem at all phased by the dynamic pace bowling attack of the Aussies.
The series so far hasn’t gone to script and the Sri Lankans seem up for the fight. Due to this, I absolutely love the $2.75 price tag on offer for them on Tuesday night.
