11.35pm Rohit Sharma, the winning captain, says, again, not verbatim: I have got a lot of fond memories playing here. Played three seasons, and won a trophy. It is important for us to settle the bowlers in. We have got a couple of guys who haven’t played IPL before. It is important to back them. And they are coming into their own. I am enjoying my batting. I am liking what I do. Of course I would take the next step, but it is a different role. We have been talking about setting the tempo early. One of us needs to bat deep, but as long as we are getting big scores, we are happy. We have a deep batting line-up, and we need to make sure they bat freely. I like Tilak’s approach. He is not afraid. He is not playing the bowler, he is playing the ball. It’s quite exiting to play with Arjun. Life has come full circle. Arjun has been part of the squad for the last three years. I have seen him grow. He understands what he wants to do, and he is quite confident he can do it. He is trying to swing the new ball, and bowling yorkers at the death.
