[ad_1]

Every now and then, Rohit Sharma leaves his teammates and fans in splits with his antics on the field. From expressing his displeasure over the umpire’s decision in his own unique style, swearing at cameras to playfully hitting his teammates, Rohit Sharma has given his fans numerous moments to enjoy.

And he was at it again on Wednesday (June 7) during the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and Australia at the Oval in London. The India captain won a good toss and elected to bowl first. Mohammed Siraj justified the decision immediately by dismissing in-form Usman Khawaja for a 10-ball duck in the 4th over of the match.

David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne then steadied the ship and took the score past the 50-run mark. Australia looked set to end the first session on top but Shardul Thakur dismissed Warner at the stroke of lunch to make sure that India share the spoils.

Rohit Sharma’s hilarious moment:

The hilarious incident took place in the 18th over when Thakur was bowling to Labuschagne. On the fourth ball of the over, the right-arm pacer hit Labuschagne on his pad and the Indian players went up in unison for an lbw decision. The umpire, however, gave his decision in the batsman’s favor.

The Indian players then had a small chat before Rohit Sharma decided to go upstairs and he conveyed his decision to the umpire in a hilarious manner. Without looking at the umpire, the India star signaled for a DRS review, leaving his teammate Mohammed Shami in splits. The replays then showed that the umpire was right and India ended up losing a review.
