Chris Jericho’s experience as a 30-year veteran in the pro wrestling business has truly benefited every company he has worked in. Jericho’s knowledge of the business is truly invaluable as well.

Le Champion has competed all over the world, in promotions such as WCW, ECW and other independent wrestling promotions. He signed with WWE in 1999 with his iconic Y2J gimmick.

Jericho and Road Dogg have worked together in WWE from 1999 to 2001 as well. They also faced each other at the Rebellion pay-per-view back in 1999. While speaking on the Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg admitted that he was jealous of Chris Jericho’s push in WWE.

“I think he’s [Chris Jericho] done extremely well for himself. Have he and I had our differences? Yeah. Was I jealous of him also when he came into WWE back in the day and I was in active addiction? Yes, because he came in getting a push and beat me twice to do it [James laughed]. But you know, nobody’s remembering anything like that Chris. You son of a… But that’s the kind of stuff back then that bothered me and I think about it today and I’m like, ‘oh my God. What a pathetic existence of a man I am, you know?’” 

Mick Foley also credited himself for jumpstarting Chris Jericho’s career in pro wrestling. Jericho is currently feuding with Eddie Kingston on AEW television. We’ll have to see how the storyline will progress in the coming weeks.
