Pakistan’s Test batters struggle against Kashif Ali’s bowling

Pakistan squad called-up local pacer Kashif Ali created a stir at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi during a training camp on November 23, where he was called up to bowl in the nets for the Pakistan squad gearing up for the upcoming Australia tour.
Kashif showcased remarkable skill, delivering a series of deliveries with impeccable line and length that troubled the Pakistani batters. His bowling proved challenging, consistently beating the batsmen on both the inside and outside edges.
Notably, he caused discomfort for star batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, leaving a strong impression as a potential asset for future Pakistan squads.
Having had an exceptional domestic season, Kashif performed admirably for Rawalpindi in the 2023-24 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, securing 26 wickets across seven matches at an average of 25.23.
His impressive track record includes three five-wicket hauls, positioning him as the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Subsequently, he continued his impactful form in the 2023 Pakistan Cup, claiming ten wickets in five matches at an impressive average of 16.

It is worth noting that Kashif was amongst one of the seven players who were invited join the training camp for the upcoming Australia Test series.The other six players included Arshad Iqbal, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Shahnawaz Dahani, Usama Mir, and Usman Qadir.
