Overview of Features

The OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones are flexible over-the-ear headphones with high protein memory earmuffs. The adjustable, ergonomic design is ideal for listening for long periods in comfort.

Oneodio A10 Hybrid Anc Headphones Review Overview

The A10 features two listening modes: ANC (Active Noise Canceling) and Transparency. With ANC, up to 95 percent of low- and mid-range noises are blocked, reaching a depth of 35db. You can turn this off whenever you want to switch to Transparency, which features Talk-In through technology. This slightly reduces your audio level, while letting human voices filter in so that you don’t miss any important announcements or conversations around you.

Of course, you want to make sure your music sounds great. That’s why the A10 headphones support Hi-Res audio for a full, rich listening experience. A Hi-Res dual-audio sound chamber ensures you hear all the highs and lows with ease. With 40mm dual dynamic drivers, you’ll hear every nuance of your audio.

You can listen for up to 50 hours, and they fully recharge in just 1.5 hours with quick charge or 2.5 hours without quick charge. If you need a quick charge on the go, all it takes is 10 minutes to listen for 5.5 hours. Optimal battery life is based on half volume with ANC turned on.

A nice OneOdio’s A10 headphones feature is that you can choose between wireless Bluetooth 5.0 or wired. If you’re using a device that doesn’t have Bluetooth capabilities, just connect your headphones directly.

Unboxing

Immediately upon opening the box, I was impressed to see everything already neatly packed in a hard shell, zippered case.

In the case I found:

  • OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones
  • 3.5mm audio cable
  • Charging cable (USB-C)
  • User guide

The headphones are flexible and lay down in the case easily. The strap makes sure nothing moves around when you’re traveling.

The headphones feature a grooved spiral design that instantly makes you think of vinyl records. It’s also a OneOdio trademark and looks great.

There are only three buttons. Switch between ANC and Transparency mode with the ANC button on the left earpiece. On the right side, there’s volume up, volume down, and the multi-function button for power, Bluetooth connection, answering calls, and more. The volume buttons also function to skip songs. The user manual covers all the different functions in detail.

First Use

Connecting the OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones to my phone took maybe 15 seconds at most. The light on the side flashes blue when you’re connected. It was easy to adjust the headphones to fit my head. The flexible earpieces gave me a comfortable fit without feeling too loose or tight.

The first test was simple enough. I launched my rock list on Spotify. Transparency mode was on by default. I was able to hear people talking to me and the voices on TV. While my music still sounded good, it was sort of muted, but I thought it was a good balance between the music and my outside environment. This would work well for work or travel.

But, if you really want to shut out everything, ANC is a must. Not only does a light turn on when you turn this mode on, but you’ll hear a voice saying that ANC has been turned on.

It definitely makes a difference. While I could hear some of the finer details and a little bass in Transparency mode, ANC gave me the rich sound I was hoping for.

Even better, I could see lips moving, but I couldn’t hear a thing. Outside of really loud noises or something right next to your ear, it’s all about your audio. If you want to immerse yourself in music, podcasts, or even your favorite TV show, use ANC. This mode is perfect for studying, lounging around, or listening to TV/music/audiobooks while your partner’s sleeping, and you don’t want their snoring to distract you.

Connecting Directly

I have an older stereo that doesn’t support Bluetooth, so it seemed like the perfect device to see how well the direct connection worked. The OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones sounded the same. In fact, I didn’t notice any difference between Bluetooth and a direct wired connection. Both were stable and delivered clear, crisp audio.

Making Calls

As with any headphones, you’re going to hear a bit of an echo in your own head as you talk. However, the person I called had no trouble hearing me.

My favorite part was using ANC while calling. I could quiet a noisy environment and focus better on my call. If you’re working from home and need headphones to shut out distractions while talking, this is a good option.

Of course, listening is the main point of these headphones, but it’s nice to know they work well for calls too.

Comfort is a Priority

I don’t want to have to stop listening to a long podcast, movie, or music playlist because my headphones are hurting my head. I also hate it when the earpads cause my ears to sweat. The OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones make comfort a priority so that you forget you’re wearing them.

The memory foam cushions are just as breathable as advertised. They don’t rub when you move around, and the headband has just enough flexibility and cushion to fit tightly yet comfortably.

Thanks to the way they adjust and flex, they’ll fit most heads with no problem. Plus, they’re lightweight, so no issues there.

Long Lasting Usage

I used the OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphones over the course of a week and half. I mainly kept them on Bluetooth with ANC turned on. On a full charge, I was able to listen for almost 30 hours.
