Nicole Savoy Announces Wrestling Retirement

Nicole Savoy has announced that she is stepping away from the wrestling ring. She made this announcement after her last match at Hoodslam’s Mutagenesis event over the weekend. Savoy competed in a tag match alongside Dark Sheik against Brittany Wonder and Juice Lee. Savoy started her career in 2011.

The 36-year-old is primarily known on the indie scene and is a former SHIMMER Champion. She was featured in many other promotions such as MLW, ROH, Stardom, and AEW. She teamed up with Big Swole for AEW’s Deadly Draw Tag Team Tournament in 2020. In 2017, she took part in the first-ever WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament. She made it to the second round before being defeated by Candice LeRae.
