Kamran Akmal’s Sacrificial Goat Stolen From His Lahore Residence Ahead Of Eid al-Adha

Veteran Pakistan batsman Kamran Akmal has once again grabbed the headlines for non-cricketing reasons. The out-of-favour Pakistan cricketer has found himself at the receiving end of a theft crime at his residential home at a private housing society in Lahore.

According to his father, the Akmal family’s sacrificial animal, a goat, has been stolen from the residence. The incident took place just a day after the Akmals had bought six goats for Eid al-Adha, a festival in which Muslims sacrifice animals.

As per reports, the crime took place in the early hours around 3 am when the guard was sleeping. The goats were tied outside the home and the crime took place after the servant deputed to look after the goats fell asleep.
