Jeff Hardy Injured During AEW Rampage Taping

Another injury looks to have taken place in the wrestling world, with AEW having taped this week’s Rampage after last night’s Dynamite, Jeff Hardy appears to have suffered an injury.

Facing off with Sammy Guevara in a No DQ match, Hardy – a three-time WWE World Champion and three-time TNA World Champion – took a brutal looking knee to the head as Guevara came off the top rope with a shooting star press. Fan footage of this incident has started circulating on X.

Per PWInsider, referee Paul Turner called the ringside doctor into the ring to check on Jeff, with the Charismatic Enigma said to have been bleeding from his nose or lip afterwards. Shortly after Hardy was checked on, an audible was called as the match went to an abrupt finish.

While there’s no particular update on Jeff’s status as of yet, today’s Wrestling Observer Radio saw Dave Meltzer note, “It was pretty nasty. I haven’t heard the severity of the injury, but it looked bad. The knee just hit him right in the temple. So, he was knocked a little silly.”
