Chepauk has been the fortress for CSK over the years and it is difficult for visiting team to beat them. Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir said that visiting teams will find it challenging to beat Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

“So, when you win the majority of matches at home, then you don’t need to win too many matches away. So, it will be very challenging for the teams visiting Chennai at their home ground,” he added.

Gambhir said that the Super Kings have the players to make use of the spin-friendly conditions at Chepauk. He continued that in the last three years teams played in similar conditions and it will be different challenges for teams to play in different venues.
