India and Pakistan are set to play against each other in the Asia Cup as well as the World Cup. In the Asia Cup, they are in the same group and are set to play at least once against each other. In the World Cup, they will be up against each other on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Apart from these two matches, they can play three more games against each other this year.

In the Asia Cup if both teams advance to the Super 4, they will play against each other once. In case they make it to the final, it will be the third meeting between the two teams this year. It will be followed by the league game in the World Cup which will be the fourth India-Pakistan match of 2023. In case, they make it to the semifinal or the final, they could end up playing against each other for the fifth time this year.
