Pakistan registered the highest team total in Asia Cup history. The Green Shirts posted a humongous total of 385/7 in their quota of 50 overs against Bangladesh in Dambulla in 2010, a record that still remains intact. Shahid Afridi top-scored with 124 off 60 balls including 17 fours and 4 sixes. Bangladesh ended up at 246/5 in 50 overs as Pakistan won the game by 139 runs.

2. India

Team India recorded the second-highest total in the history of the continental event. They posted 374/4 in their quota of 50 overs against the Hong Kong cricket team in Karachi in 2008. MS Dhoni scored 109 off 96 balls (6 fours, 6 sixes) whereas Suresh Raina scored 101 off 68 balls (7 fours and 5 sixes). Hong Kong were bowled out for 118, courtesy of Piyush Chawla’s four-wicket haul India won by 256 runs.

3. Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka registered 357/9 in their designated quota of 50 overs against Bangladesh in Lahore in the 2008 edition of the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka registered the third-highest total in the Asia Cup history. Kumar Sangakkara top-scored with 101 off 91 balls with the help of 16 fours. In reply, Bangladesh posted 226/7 in 50 overs. Sri Lanka won the game by 131 runs.

4. India

Team India showcased their dominance in the game by registering their highest-ever total against Pakistan in ODIs. The Men in Blue led by Rohit Sharma posted 356/2 in 20 overs in Colombo in Asia Cup 2023. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 122 and 111 respectively. Pakistan were skittled out for 128, courtesy of Kuldeep Yadav’s fifer. Team India won the game by 228 runs.

5. Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team registered 343/5 in their designated quota of 50 overs against the Hong Kong cricket team in the 2004 edition of the Asia Cup in Colombo. Younis Khan top-scored with 144 whereas Shoaib Malik drew plaudits for his exceptional all-round performance. He scored 118 and registered 4/19. Hong Kong were bundled out for 165 and lost the game by 173 runs (D/L method).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar registered 5/4 in 4 overs as India won by 101 runs.

2. Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team follow next on the list as they registered the second-highest total in the Men’s T20 Asia Cup history. The Green Shirts scored 193/2 in 20 overs against Hong Kong in Sharjah in 2022. Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 78 off 57 balls. On the other hand, Hong Kong batters fell prey to cheap scores as they were skittled out for 38 runs. Shadab Khan registered 4/8 in 2.4 overs.

3. India

Team India posted 192/2 in their quota of 20 overs against Hong Kong in Dubai in the 2022 edition of the Asia Cup, which is the third-highest total in the T20I Asia Cup history. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 68 off 26 balls as he remained unbeaten throughout the game. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 59 off 44 balls. On the contrary, Hong Kong ended up at 152/5 and lost by 40 runs.

Bangladesh posted 183/7 against Sri Lanka in their quota of 20 overs in the 2022 edition of the Men’s T20I Asia Cup in Dubai. The Tigers posted a challenging total on the board with the help of Afif Hossain’s 39 off 22 and Mehedi Hasan Miraz’s 38 off 26. Sri Lanka ensured to get the job done as they won the game by 2 wickets. Kusal Mendis top-scored with 60 off 37 balls.
