The much-awaited inaugural match of Legends League Cricket (LLC) has disappointing news lately. Sourav Ganguly has withdrawn from playing but has confirmed to make his presence in the stadium.
The BCCI president was supposed to lead the Indian Maharajas team against World XI scheduled to be held on September 16 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The league focus on the celebration of India’s 75th anniversary of Independence tagged as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The proceeds from the league will be donated to Khushii Foundation of Kapil Dev which supports the education of girl children.

The former Indian captain addressed the organizer through a letter that his professional commitments as well as continuous work with the cricket administration are making his availability tough for the game and he wishes to withdraw from the playing.
