Fakhar Zaman breaks Babar Azam’s record in ODI cricket

Fakhar Zaman became the fastest Asian batter to reach 3000 ODI runs during his blistering century in the second ODI against New Zealand at Pindi Cricket Stadium.
The left-hand opener reached the landmark in his 67th inning and hence broke his captain, Babar Azam’s record, who took 68 innings to reach the same milestone.
Fakhar is the joint second-fastest batter to reach 3000-run mark as he has equaled Shai Hope’s record, who completed 3000 runs in the same number of innings.
