In what will be a major boost for Indian Cricket Team, KL Rahul has started wicketkeeping as well as batting practice in the nets. With Asia Cup 2023 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 around the corner, this will solve major problems for the team.

KL Rahul suffered a hip-flexor injury during the IPL and was in a lot of pain. He was ruled out of the tournament and then underwent surgery. The keeper batter then missed all the cricket for India including the ICC World Test Championship Final followed by the ongoing tour of West Indies.

KL Rahul posted a video of him doing keeping and batting practice in the nets on his social media accounts. In the clip, he can be seen doing keeping drills and taking some catches along with the batting practice. Here’s the video:

KL Rahul will be a key part of the team in the middle order and with him also expected to keep wickets, he becomes a vital cog for the team automatically. In this absence, the team tried quite a few players in the middle and it’s fair to say that they didn’t what they wanted from them.
