Bate and Seven to pulverize each other in clash for vacant NXT UK Championship

[ad_1]

It all comes down to this on the final episode of NXT UK: a legendary tournament finale between Trent Seven and Tyler Bate, former best friends and NXT UK Tag Team Champions turned bitter adversaries.

For Bate, who took down Kenny Williams followed by Joe Coffey in a pair of grueling tournament fights to make it this far, winning tonight would allow him to exact payback against his former ally, not to mention prevent the dastardly Seven from capturing his first NXT UK Title.

A victory for The Big Strong Boi would also put him back atop the NXT UK brand for the first time since he lost the very same title to Butch more than a half decade ago.

Seven’s cruelty knows no bounds, as the apparently heartless competitor tricked Bate and everyone else by feigning retirement after the two lost the NXT UK Tag Team Titles before blasting Bate with a ruthless kick below the belt and carrying out a merciless assault.

To be fair, however, Seven has come up clutch in the NXT UK Championship Tournament, having bested Wolfgang in the opening round and taking advantage of the injuries to Oliver Carter to win in the semifinal.

Whatever you do, do not miss what is certain to be an edge-of-your-seat battle between newly sworn enemies with the NXT UK Championship on the line.

And speaking of high-stakes bouts, Amale, Eliza Alexander, Isla Dawn and Blair Davenport will collide in an NXT UK Women’s Championship No. 1 Contenders’ Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match, and the winner will challenge legendary titleholder Meiko Satomura at a future date.

Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala made an impromptu singles match between Dawn and Davenport several weeks ago, but interference from Amale and Alexander made it impossible to determine a winner and left tonight’s match as the only logical solution.

Finally, Saxon Huxley will throw down with Kenny Williams in what should be a heated collision.

Check out an incredible edition of NXT UK, streaming Thursday at 3 ET/8 BST on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else!
