AUS vs ENG 1st T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report | AUS vs ENG 1st T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | Perth Pitch Report
Often when England are in town, the hype and banter ahead of an Ashes series is fantastic. This time around, things are focused more on the weeks ahead, with this three-match T20I series serving as final preparation for two of the World Cup contenders.
Australia are coming off a 2-0 series win over West Indies, with the second victory far more convincing than the first. Tim David’s prowess puts even greater pressure on Steve Smith’s place in the XI, as does the likely return of Marcus Stoinis, who offers a bowling option. This contest in Perth is one where the spotlight is on the batting lineup, with Australia’s first choice bowling attack rested for this match out west. If the likes of Finch, Marsh and co. can fire, it puts Australia in a better place after what has been a shaky home season with the bat so far.
England are also coming off a successful series, overcoming Pakistan 4-3 away from home. The emergence of Harry Brook as an international cricketer is a huge positive, and England now have the luxury of adding Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes in their XI. The fitness of the likes of Liam Livingstone and Chris Jordan is something England want sorted ahead of the World Cup, but their side on paper looks a testing one for Australia’s XI in Perth.
AUS vs ENG 1st T20 Possible Playing XI
Australia’s frontline seamers are rested for this clash. So too Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell. With Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis likely to play, it seems as though Steve Smith will not find a place in the XI.
Australia: 1. David Warner, 2. Cameron Green, 3. Mitchell Marsh, 4. Aaron Finch (c), 5. Marcus Stoinis, 6. Tim David, 7. Matthew Wade (wk), 8. Daniel Sams, 9. Ashton Agar, 10. Nathan Ellis, 11. Kane Richardson
England’s big call will be whether to play Alex Hales or Phil Salt – or even Ben Stokes – as opener with the returning Jos Buttler. Liam Livingstone is still unavailable with an ankle injury, and Chris Jordan may be kept for the Canberra T20Is.
England: 1. Jos Buttler (c & wk), 2. Alex Hales/Phil Salt, 3. Dawid Malan, 4. Ben Stokes, 5. Harry Brook, 6. Moeen Ali, 7. Sam Curran, 8. Chris Woakes, 9. Adil Rashid, 10. Mark Wood, 11. Reece Topley

- David Warner struck form with a 41-ball 75 at the Gabba two nights ago. But, he has a poor record against England: 12 inns, 218 runs, avg. 18.16, SR 111.79. It will be interesting to see how he fares.

Optus Stadium Perth Pitch Report and Weather
Clear conditions are forecast for Perth, but a cool evening is expected. So, there may be dew in the second innings, which should prompt the captain who wins the toss to chase.
In six men’s T20s on this ground since the start of 2021, the average first innings score is 169.33. The team batting first won five of those matches, but this game is being played earlier in the season, which makes dew a possible factor.
