Following a win and rain-marred draw, Pakistan qualified for the Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. Bangladesh, on the other hand, suffered a loss at the hands of Sri Lanka in their opening fixture, but the Shakib Al Hasan-led side fought really hard and made a strong comeback against Afghanistan to seal their berth for the next round.

Thus, an electric game is awaited at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. For Bangladesh, star opener Litton Das will be coming back after injury, while Pakistan have decided to bring in Faheem Ashraf, who will be replacing Mohammad Nawaz.

Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed scored a century each against Nepal, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nazmul Hossain Shanto did the same against the quality bowling attack of Afghanistan. However, to get over the line, other batters will also have to step up. Shakib Al Hasan has shown glimpses of his form in the last match and will be hoping to keep up with the momentum. However, against a quality bowling attack of Pakistan, it will be an incredibly difficult task.

Pitch and conditions:

The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will assist the batters. A 300+ game is expected, and the skipper winning the toss should elect to bowl first.
