“We have had a couple of really long sessions”: Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid said that there was little time for player development and that it was thrilling to start the series one week early.

“We have had a couple of really long sessions. I think it’s really exciting as a coaching staff because you don’t actually get times like this due to the amount of cricket we play. India has won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in the last three test matches—at home in 2016–17, in Australia in 2018–19, and in 2020–21—all by a score of 2-1 during the course of a four-match series.

The opening Test will be played on February 9 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
