2.45pm Ireland snapped their seven match losing streak. Captain Andy Balbirnie hit form. Their top order showed up. The win in the first T20I was something the home side really needed after they had come close on many occasions in the last few months. They almost fluffed up the chase before George Dockrell and Harry Tector kept their cool till the last over. Their bowling wasn’t too bad either – they did give away quite a few boundaries but were excellent in patches.
