ICC Test Player Rankings, Babar Azam Surpasses Virat Kohli Latest Updated After India vs England 1st Test 2024 | ICC Men’s Test Player Standings: England won the first test match against India at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad by 28 runs. Pakistani former skipper Babar Azam surpassed Indian Star Batters Virat Kohli in the Latest ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings. Babar Azam is at fifth position in the ICC Test Player Rankings with a rating of 768 whereas Virat Kohli is at sixth spot with a rating of 767 in the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings. Virat Kohli is the only Indian Batter in the Top 10 list of ICC Men’s Test Player Ranking in the batting segment.
English All-rounder Joe Root is present at second position in the ICC Test Player Rankings with a rating of 832, he played phenomenal cricket in the first test match against India in Hyderabad. Australian Star Batter Steve Smith occupied third position in the batting rankings with a rating of 818.
Ravichandran Ashwin has occupied the top position in the latest ICC Men’s Test Player Ranking in the bowling segment with a rating of 853 whereas Indian Pacer Jasprit Bumrah jumps to the fourth position with a rating of 825. South African bowler Kagiso Rabada is in second position with a rating of 851 in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings.
Ravindra Jadeja retains the top spot in the latest ICC Men’s Test All-Rounder Rankings with a rating of 425, however, there’s a huge difference in the rating between the first position and second. Ravichandran Ashwin occupied the second position with a rating of 328, which is around 100 rating less than Ravindra Jadeja. Indian Players have improved their position in the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings.
