Great Britain’s Matt Weston secured his first win of the 2023-24 Skelton World Cup season with victory in Innsbruck.

The world and European champion finished 0.15 seconds ahead of South Korea’s Jung Seung-gi in Austria for a seventh career World Cup gold.

Craig Thompson nearly made it two Britons on the podium but finished 0.05 seconds behind third-placed Felix Keisinger of Germany after two runs.

Compatriot Marcus Wyatt, who was third in La Plagne last week, finished ninth.
